"Computers have made the world a better place”
Whether our life has been more and more comfortable every day and it has benefited us, but as the technology accelerates the environment impact also increases.
I want to say that there are some people claim technology is creating much more merits to help anybody, on the other hand, some people contradict that technology has produced bad effects to their life.
For example, the computers are a really good technology because it provides a lot of solutions to our needs, like the contact with our friends or family around the world, helping life’s, information that we don’t find in the encyclopedias, or instant information, etc.
Another positive factor is with the computer you can save paper, because with the electronic e-mail, we don’t need to cut down a lot of trees.
On the other hand, is an energy spend because all families in the developing world have a computer in their home. Also, some people is against with pc because they think that it deprive to do a lot of things that years before people do without computer, for example calculations, letters…
As well, some experts opined that computer also cause the loss sight.
But…What are we doing without pc?
We came to the conclusion, that the computers are the important technology in our society, because all of companies, schools, reference library… needs this fabulous technology to work correctly. Our problem is that we’re got into bad habits.

Oral presentation, diferents types of love
Oral presentation

Hi guys! Let’s get started. Good morning ladies and gentlemen.
We are Neus and Marina as you know.
Slide 2:
In this oral presentation we are going to talk about Love.
At first about different types of love in Pride and Prejudice: arranged marriage (Mr. Collins), love at first sight (Mr. Bingley) and hate becomes love (Mr. Darcy). Then we’re going to talk about love actually outside the film and inside the film.

Arranged Marriage (Mr. Collins)
Let’s begin at the beginning; we want to say we have chosen this order because this list goes to according to height HAAIT of Pride and Prejudice.
Well, everybody knows what is an arranged marriage. In many communities, the match is selected by relatives or a matchmaking agent (“celestina”), maybe.
On the one hand, the traditional arranged marriage is decided in the first meeting. there is no possibility of courtship. (noviazgo) On the other hand, in Pride and Prejudice we have the example of Mr. Collins and Charlotte Lucas; it’s different because the relatives haven’t got influence on this marriage.

Love at first sight (Mr. Bingley)
Well, we decided that Jane and Mr. Bingley leading role in this type of love, because is the only love who start in the first moment and finish very good, like a film.I say like a film, because it’s very unusual find a love at first sight, it’s more common to find this in the films, novels…so in the fiction, not in the reality, but well, always there are exceptions like all.
In this slide, you can see two moments in the film, which was very important for this couple.This picture represented one of this first stare, and this second is when Mr.Bingley proposed marriage with Jane.

Hate becomes love (Mr. Darcy)
In my opinion, this kind of love is very sweet; you can see the example of Mr. Darcy and Lizzie, don’t you? But I prefer love at first sight, well insignificant details.
What’s more? Ah, I have put this photo because it’s one of the best moments in the film, when Mr. Darcy proposed other time to get married with Elisabeth.

Platonic love:
Now, we’d want to talk about different type of actually love.
At first I’m going to talk a little bit about platonic love.
When we think about platonic love, we normally think about actors, pop starts…well popular people. Why? Because we relate platonic love with impossible people to obtain.For girls, for example, this platonic love sometimes is Brad Pitt (before when he was very young, and also now), Leonardo Dicaprio (overcoat when he acted in Titanic), Orlando Bloom, Ricky Martin, etc. And for boys the typical platonic love is Eva Mendez, Angelina Jolie, Keira knightley...
To finish, we’d like to say that Chad Michael Murray is our platonic love. If you watch the photo you can see that he’s good-looking, attractive, sexy, handsome, etc.

Unrequited love (Definitely, maybe)
Have you ever watched “Definitivamente, quizás”? It’s a comedy film about love, there’s a father who is in a midst of a divorce. He has a daughter. One day, she questions him about his life before marriage; for that, he told her a lot of kinds of love: the love romantic, the unrequited love, patterned love, the lost love…
Well, an unrequited love is the worst love, you know. But don’t worry about that because there’s a lot of fish in the sea.

Passionate love (Endless love and Ghost):
-Passionate love (Endless love and Ghost):This film, is a clear example to show passion.The story is about one girl and one boy who are really fall in love. At first all comes perfectly until the girl’s father is angry with this love situation and brakes they love story.The boy resist this drama and he never surrender to fight for her.
-Another film which shows this passion, is for example Ghost, because in this film, the passion that feel the girl for her died lover persist every day.

Love between opposites (Grease)
There are a lot of films that speak about this kind of love like: Grease, A walk to remember…
However the better example in love between opposites is Grease; he’s the well-known and she’s the unpopular girl. Then, they fell in love to each other.

Well, Now I talk about my oral presentation. When I’m doing this, I feel very nervous, stressed and I have fear, and the fear is the most worst, because when you feel this, you can talk bad, you can stammer, sweat, etc.
So, in my first oral presentation last year, I felt these previous adjectives that I have said, but it has turned out good.In my second oral presentation two years ago, I done it with Neus, and we talk about adolescence, it resulted very good.
Also, last year we done it together but didn’t resulted very well, because we didn’t have a lot of time to prepared it.
This year, my oral presentation also with Neus, resulted different. Our first, it was better than the last year, because we felt more confident with the topic (Differents types of love).
But well, I think that I always have fear in front of the public, maybe is a social phobia :S
So…for this reason, I decide that in the next oral presentation I’ll take “valeriana” to calm my nerves… and I hope that like this my second oral presentation will be better.
